By completing registration and payment you confirm you are eligible to compete in your selected category.

All paddlers are required to sign a physical waiver form on race day before competing. Paddlers under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver on their behalf. No paddler will be permitted to race without a signed waiver.

All paddlers must pass a safety check before racing. Safety checks open at 7:30am on race day. Paddlers who have not completed a safety check will not be permitted to start.

All paddlers must attend the race briefing or ensure a representative attends on their behalf. The race briefing is mandatory — failure to attend may result in disqualification.

Entry fees are non-refundable. Races may be postponed or cancelled due to weather, safety conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, the organiser will make reasonable efforts to reschedule. Entry fees are not refunded for postponed or cancelled races. In the event the entire series is cancelled by the organiser for reasons within our control, a partial refund may be issued at the discretion of Orakei Water Sports.

The Race Committee reserves the right to disqualify any paddler who fails to meet the conditions of entry, behaves in an unsportsmanlike manner, or presents false information. Entry fees are non-refundable in cases of disqualification.

The course is subject to change based on weather and safety conditions. The final course will be confirmed at the race briefing. Paddlers are responsible for knowing the course before racing.

Paddlers must complete a minimum of 3 out of 5 races to be eligible for series prizes. Prize money will be awarded to 1st place in each category, provided a minimum of 10 paddlers have competed in each division.
